Welcome to another savvy Google tip from Monkey C Media.  Last we talked about Google Video.   This week’s savvy tip is Google Base, a Google program that allows you to submit all types of online and offline content.  Google describes this as a way for people to find your content - and it’s free.  Now if that isn’t a Web Master’s dream, I don’t know what is - check it out.

Are you looking for ways to increase your page ranking with Google? Of course you are - we all are - or at least, we should be. Well, there are a few little sneaky ways to help boost your page ranking - don’t worry, it’s all legal.

The first one is Google Video. With this nifty Google item, you can have your own TV show (something like an infomercial) where you have the opportunity to share your expertise. Have you forgotten where you registered your domain name or can’t find your passwords? You can look it up online at whois.net. This extensive database will tell you where your domain is registered and how to contact them. They will send your information to the e-mail they have on file for you.
Here are some things to think about:
1. Remember to keep all of your Internet and Web site related passwords in one file - maybe even make a back-up.
2. Be sure to keep your listing current - there are X-rated companies that buy up expired URLs and use them to promote pornography. Don’t let this happen to you.
3. Lastly, never pay more than $8.95 for a domain name. GoDaddy.com offers affordable pricing and great service.”
